This past weekend Los Angeles was taken over by the Rock The Bells festival. With appearances from the Blacky Hippy collective, Kid Cudi, Common, Curren$y, Big K.R.I.T., Pusha T, J. Cole, A$AP Mob, Dom Kennedy and dozens more, the line up for the tenth anniversary of festival series was enough to make it legendary. After the 2 day festival concluded, there was much to say about the great performances but what stole the show was the appearance of two Hip Hop Legends in hologram form.

On Day 1 of the festival, West Coast legend Eazy E was brought back to life as his hologram appeared on stage with Bone Thugs n Harmony. The N.W.A. star performed classics such as “Straight Outta Compton,” “Boyz N That Hood” and more.

Day 2 featured another legend back from the grave as Ol’ Dirty Bastard took the stage with his son Young Dirty Bastard as they tag teamed to perform “Shame on a Ni**a” and “Shimmy Shimmy Ya”. The hologram for ODB appeared during the set from Wu Tang Clan to the delight of the crowd.
