Drake & Nicki Minaj Perform With Big Sean In His Hometown Detroit

Detroit native Big Sean certainly got some help Saturday night from some high profile friends who showed up unannounced at DTE Energy Music Theatre.
Drake and Nicki Minaj helped end a nearly two hour show and huge week for Big Sean that celebrated the release of his well-received sophomore album entitled “Hall of Fame.”
Drake showed up first and told the crowd he would’ve have performed with his pal on stage earlier, but couldn’t get his microphone to turn on at the right time.
Before Drake performed a few songs with Big Sean, he told the crowd that, as a Canadian from Toronto, he’s always shared a love for the Motor City.
“The only reason why I didn’t come out before because my mic wasn’t working,” Drake told the crowd when he showed up about 10:37 p.m. “I want to get this (expletive) right! If Detroit is in the this (expletive) make some noise.
“I’m going to tell you like this: I grew up in Toronto, Canada and used to go to Windsor, Ontario every mother(bleeping) summer, and if you were lucky you got to cross the border and go to Detroit. I used to pick my dad up at the Greyhound station in Detroit; so Detroit I so much (expletive) love for y’all!”
Nicki Minaj also did a few songs with Big Sean and told his fans that the city’s native son is one of the most genuine performers she’s ever worked with.
“Listen, I want to say that I’ve never performed, I’ve never come to a Big Sean show,” she said. “But this guy be one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met in the business. And I thank you guys for coming out tonight to support him. He’s one of those (expletives) that really is who he says he is.”
