Looks like Beyoncé is up to more than just her joint tour with hubby Jay Z.  According to early reports from DJ Envy, Bey will be dusting off her acting skills to star next to Will Smith in the sequel to Hancock.

IMDB has listed Mrs. Carter as one of the actors to appear in the film. There isn’t much information describing what role Beyoncé will be playing but one could think she might take on Charlize Theron’s leading female role. This will be her first movie in the theaters since 2009’s Obsessed aside from lending her voice in the animated film Epic.
