By now you’ve probably heard about Nipsey Hussle cashing out on his $100 album Crenshaw, but it was about more than money the rapper tells Power 105′s The Breakfast Club.
“It was by choice,” he said. “We get money off the other side of it, like touring, merchandise and all that. It was really just to get people talking… ‘What makes it, in his mind, worth $100?’ And it sold out, so that was cool too.”

T-Boz and Chili stopped by Power 105.1′s The Breakfast Club to promote their VH1 biopic, CazySexyCool: The TLC Story, due out Oct. 21.
“I think it was time to tell our story,” T-Boz cites as the reason they produced this work. The singers went on to discuss a range of topics including their relationship with LA Reed and Pebbles the making of the movie and their current relationships with significant others.
When it came to choosing the cast, Chili and T-Boz were not only involved, they approved all of the picks. “It just gets on my nerves that people would hold one thing she did–first of all she didn’t pull a Kanye West,” Chili said on the casting of Lil Mama. “She killed it.”
“It’s about her acting chops not about what she does personally,” T-Boz added.
