Them (1515) boys is back at it. KarenCivil.com has exclusively confirmed that Jayson Rodriguez and Shaheem Reid have reunited at XXL Magazine. The two writers were a part of MTV News’ famed 1515 Boys team, where Shaheem served as Hip-Hop Editor and co-founded the influential column, Mixtape Monday and also the historic Hottest MCs round-table debate and J-Rod was a senior writer covering hip-hop, crime and producing “Chris Brown: The Interview.” Rodriguez has been named executive editor at the magazine, where he’ll work along side editor-in-chief Vanessa Satten. He recruited Reid to be editor-at-large; Shaheem will pen columns for the magazine, write for the site and host his own monthly video series on XXLmag.com. In addition, Sha will to continue to run his company, “Shaheem Reid Media,” where is he developing projects for television and currently working on his first book.
