In 2015 you will hear Rihanna‘s voice in the film Home as Tip, the first black female lead character in a Dreamworks’ film.

Home is the story of Tip who will travel through America, which is in a post apocalyptic state, with an alien named Oh by her side. During the trek, Oh learns what it is like to be a human after he leaves his planet to avoid an enemy and is seeking refuge on Earth.

In addition to providing the voice to Home as Tip, Rihanna will provide the soundtrack for the movie, which will come in the form of a full length concept album.

In other Rih movie news, the singer is also set to star along side of Jennifer Lopez in a film during what is shaping up to be a successful 2015 in film for the singer. The trailer for the film is available above.
