Raekwon continues his throwback Thursday series with the 6th freestyle, this time over Sylvia Striplin’s classic track “Give Me Your Love.” While Rae’s content is rather different than Sylvia’s was, the Chef soulfully floats over the uplifting instrumental from producer Roy Ayers. After a quick set of bars, Raekwon lets Sylvia’s melodies run through bringing some of us right back to the 80s.
