What makes Pharrell such an influential figure in pop culture is his ability to have his hands involved in numerous ventures all at once.

After shutting down the Oscars and dropping a brand new album G I R L, it’s time for Skateboard P to take part in a more important matter. According to Rolling Stone, on March 20th, Pharrell will be partnering up with the United Nations for their 3rd annual “International Day Of Happiness”, which promotes positivity and happiness, deeming them as fundamental human goals.

Starting this Monday, March 10th, fans are being asked to post YouTube videos of themselves showing their “happiness” to Pharrell’s smash hit “Happy”, while using the hashtag #HAPPYDAY. These submissions should be sent to P’s new site 24 Hours Of Happiness and on March 20th, the winner will be announced at noon of each time zone.

This sort of campaign should be a reminder to us all about what’s truly important in life.
