Pharrell Williams took the stage tonight  (June 3) at the Apollo Theater kicking of American Express’ AMEX Unstaged Concert Series. Skateboard P’s performance in Harlem was directed by the legendary Spike Lee.

During his time on stage Pharrell, accented by his now trademark hats, ran through songs from his personal catalogue and some of the many chart toppers that he had a hand in helping craft. Along with the live band and dancers, Pharrell brought out a special guest in T.I. to the legendary Apollo stage.

Apollo isn’t the only stage that Pharrell will be taking over as he was also announced to be one of the performers at the 2014 BET Awards along side of the likes of Usher, Lil Wayne and Drake. In addition to his planned awards show performance, the “Come Get It Bae” singer will be taking over Europe as a part of his Dear G I R L Tour which will run though the month of September and parts of October.
