Two forces collided this weekend with the release of Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj’s collaborative remix to “Flawless.” Arguably two of the top women in the game right now, no one could’ve seen it happening when it did despite all of the floating rumors. Nicki dialed into Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning for a quick chat and dished on all of the details concerning “Flawless.”

The Head Barbie was just as shocked as we were when she was tapped to do the official remix. “Recently, I thought it would never happen because I felt like if she was going to ask me she would’ve been asked me,” she said. “I think the stars just aligned the right way. I think we’re just in the right places of our career that it makes sense with the release of her last album her records are geared to what I do now.”

Laying her verse down in a studio in New York, the Queens rapper was joined by Queen Bey herself and acted as Nicki’s personal cheerleader to “not hold back.”

“I recorded the verse in New York and she stopped by the studio and she was such a sweet heart. She was hyping me up like ‘yeah do your thing, don’t hold back go in,'” she said.

With one powerful collab done for the books, inquiring minds want to know if the “Pills N Potions” rapper will meet up with Remy Ma on wax, who has revealed to Funkmaster Flex that she is interested in a “chick record.”

“I told you guys before Remy came home I would love to. I was a fan of hers before she went to jail and I always feel like she was always at the top of her game in relation to all the MCs in the game. I always thought she was sitting there at the top. We’ll get the right thing and we’ll do it for the people,” Nicki said.
