Mr. Probz has a huge hit on his hands with “Waves” and after almost a year of being out (11/22/13), the soulful singer unleashes the official remix, which includes features from T.I. and Chris Brown. The soothing Robin Schulz-produced instrumental is the exact type of song Breezy belongs on, and because Tip is such a versatile artist and can adapt to anything that “sounds good”, he approaches the catchy hit the right way. After hearing a rapper and a rapper/singer spit on this beat, it’s surprising that no other rappers decided to take a stab at this one. Maybe this will spark a slew of freestyles that we’ll enjoy for a while, but will eventually get old.
