So M.I.A finally decided to speak out on the 1.5 million lawsuit against her by the NFL for flipping the bird during Super Bowl XLVI halftime show in 2012. In the video below, the Sir Lankan rapper shares her thoughts on the ordeal.

“The NFL thing is completely ridiculous,” she says. “It’s been making me laugh for a while, but now it’s so boring. I don’t even laugh anymore.”

She went on to say that the whole thing is a waste of time and money, referring to other offensive acts. “Is my finger offensive or is an underage black girl with her legs wide open more offensive to the family audience?”

Naturally, one would try and fight for what they stand for, and by the looks of things, M.I.A doesn’t look like one to back down.
