Kid Cudi’s fans experienced a scary moment when the rapper fainted during his set at Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival on Saturday (Aug. 30.). The Cleveland native was in the midst of signing an autograph in the front row when he suddenly passed out. Falling back and hitting the floor, Cudi was caught by security who picked him up and carried him backstage.

“If I scared anyone tonight I am so so sorry from the bottom of my heart,” he tweeted to ensure fans he was fine. “Mad love to the security who were there and helped me out tonight. Really awesome dudes! Thanx for nursing me back to health. Ill do a better and make sure to eat properly on show days 🙂 scouts honor.”
