Andre 3000 will be returning to the silver screen in America with his leading role in the Jimi Hendrix biopic titled Jimi: All Is By My Side. The biopic will chronicle Hendrix prior to breaking out with his 1967 debut album Are You Experienced?

The film will screen for the first time in the states at the SXSW festival in Austin, this coming March. The festival is set for March 7 through 15.

The week will kick of a busy few months for Dre as after the movie premieres, he will gear up to hit 40 festival dates with partner Big Boi as part of the Outkast reunion.
