America’s favorite mexican food chain Chipotle has officially sued Frank Ocean over a botched ad campaign. The West Coast singer was paid $212,500 to lend his vocals for a new ad from Chipotle, but decided to back out at the last second without providing the vocals.

According to HWR, Chipotle struck a deal with CAA and Ocean to record a new track titled “Pure Imagination” for Chipotle’s marketing campaign deemed “Scarecrow”. He was paid the aformentioned amount up front, and would be given an additional $212,500 upon completion of the song.

His deadline to complete the song was August 7th, 2013, and on that day, he informed Chipotle that he would not be following through with the deal due to miscommunication about the purpose of the ad. Read the full complaint here.
