Besides seeing one of the best comedians of our generation, Dave Chappelle is returning to the stage at the Radio City Music Hall and bringing together musical acts other people barely have access to to celebrate his latest comeback to show business: Erykah Badu, The Roots, Busta Rhymes, Nas and even Kanye West. Chappelle being able to call in these kinds of favors with the top names in music should come as no surprise when we consider most of these people were musical guests on Chappelle’s Show between 2003-04 or worked with him for Dave Chappelle’s Block Party in 2005.

Taking a look back on a show that officially ended in 2006–but really feels like it ended in 2004–we’re going to take a look back at some of the best musical performances from the hit sketch comedy series, including a handful of the Soulquarians, The College Dropout-era Kanye West, DMX and many more people that were at the top of hip-hop during the time.
