Directed and edited by Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade, rap stars Cordae, who recently axed the “YBN” out of his name, and Roddy Ricch have released their official music video to their all-new single “Gifted.” Dropping shortly after first teasing the song this past Wednesday, Cordae’s “Gifted” visual finds himself and Roddy sharing honest lyrics based upon their lives before closing out with a quote from Huey P. Newton: “ The revolution has always been in the hands of the young. The young always inherit the revolution.”

Cordae’s new visual also goes on to promote the act of defunding the police as they continue to attack our Black communities across the world. “Gifted,” which was produced by BongoBytheway, Cordae and Ray Keys, certainly showcases Cordae’s continued elevation as an artist and as a rapper that we all truly can relate to.
