New Music – Russ Offers Us ‘Give Up’

As he basks in his newly independent artistry, Russ is looking to refresh his catalog and give his fans more music to craze over as he told Variety in a recent interview.  Today, the Atlanta-resident released his new track, “Give Up” produced by T-Minus. In the song, Russ reflects on a past relationship with an ex that still crosses his mind.

Russ’ new track comes on the heels of “Live From the Villa”, a new single released last week in which he wrote last year in Jordan on his way to the Dead Sea.

In addition to his music, Russ doesn’t shy away from being a community activity. He recently donated to local organizations and businesses such as Big Dave’s Cheesecake and APT 4B. In the aforementioned Variety interview, he also expressed his thoughts on white artists benefiting off of Black culture:

“If you’re a white artist who’s benefited off of Black culture financially, you need to put money back into Black culture.”
