DaBaby & Lil Baby Team Up On Remix To Future & Drake’s “Life Is Good”
by Staff Editor
With “What A Time To Be Alive 2” on the way, Future and Drake are getting fans pumped up as they recently added DaBaby and Lil Baby to their official remix of “Life Is Good.” While fans have noticed that some of Drake’s portion of the song has been cut for the remix, the rappers did take the space to make room for lengthy verses and worthy bars.
“I got fools tryna sue up in Boston
I got dudes tryna sue down in Florida
I got hoes in L.A., got a new boo from Georgia
A milly, saved up to give to my daughter
Over one hundred k, the true feelin’, my lawyer (Let’s go)”
On the remix, Future makes a reference to Lori Harvey and their relationship in his verse. He may have even referred to Lori’s recent birthday bash that he put on for her as he raps, “Who causin’ a racket in Jamaica on the weekend?” He also adds, “Cop a ticket on vacation, I ripped up the receipt / And she call me daddy ’cause my money long like Stevie.” As DaBaby has also been in the headlines due to legal troubles, the rapper hits on his legal issues and staying afloat in the industry.
