Tekashi 6ix9ine has asked to serve the remainder of his 24-month sentence at home after serving as an informant for the FBI against the Nine Trey Gangster Bloods.

TMZ reported that Tekashi’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, filed docs asking the judge to allow him to serve the rest of his sentence under home confinement or in a community correctional facility.

The rapper claims that his safety is seriously at risk because he snitched on the gang, and he says the private jail he’s currently in is full of Blood gang members. In other words, he’s worried that the gang members inside will want their revenge against him.

As previously reported, the rapper was sentenced last month to two years in prison for his racketeering case. Tekashi already served about 14 months, and he could be out around August 2020.
