The sultry R&B singer and rising star, Jorja Smith is trying new things lately, and afrobeats is just one of them. On August 16th, Jorja released a hot and steamy music video for the single, “Be Honest,” featuring Burna Boy.

“Be Honest” is the perfect way to end the summer off. We can expect to hear it in the clubs, as it is the afrobeat-reggae vibe we needed. The visual shows off a bad-ass side of Jorja we normally don’t get to see: dance moves, slow modeling in the pool, and living her best life on a motorcycle.

She recently posted this picture while promoting the music video on Instagram stating, “This is the wave from now on, Be Honest.”

Jorja recently teamed up with Kalis Uchis on the “The Kali & Jorja Tour” in early Spring after releasing her debut album, Lost and Found. The soulful singer has been featured on Drake’s, “Get It Together,” and Kendrick Lamar’s “I Am” from the Black Panther soundtrack as a vocalist and co-writer. Jorja Smith won the “Female Solo Artist” Britt Award in 2019 while being nominated for two other Britt Awards including a Grammy.
