Rick Ross is preparing to release the extension of his Port of Miami sequel. Named after his 2006 debut studio album, his new LP will be released on Friday, August 9. In anticipation of the long-awaited drop, Ross premiers his new track “Turnpike Ike” along with other previous releases “Act a Fool,” “BIG TYME,” and “Gold Roses” featuring Drake.  

Ross tells Apple Music, “Port of Miami was the foundation I built the empire on. We’ve accomplished so much since then, and sometimes you just gotta reflect on that.” 

The album will be Ross’s 10th of his career, paying tribute to his late manager Black Bo who passed away in 2017, Rozay puts together 15 tracks featuring collaborators Wale, Swizz Beatz, Meek Mill, the late Nipsey Hussle, A Boogie With Da Hoodie, and others. 

Last month Ross and Drake came together for “Money in the Grave,” one of the singles dropped by Drake to celebrate Toronto Raptors victory in the NBA Championship.
