In the upcoming episode of Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Red Table Talk series, Kid Cudi was the latest guest on the show. The rapper opened up about mental health and offering advice to those who need it.

“I was really good at keeping my troubles hidden… even from my friends,” Cudi told Jada, Adrienne Banfield-Jones and Willow Smith. “I really was good with that. And it’s scary because you hear people say, ‘I had no clue.'”

Cudi even added in that he went out his way to keep his issues hidden, and he felt ashamed of his issues. “I really went out of my way to keep what I was going through hidden because I was ashamed,” he says.

Cudi has been dealing with mental issues his whole life and even checked himself into rehab back in 2016. In a Facebook post in 2016, was when Cudi told his fans that he was checking himself into rehab to tackle his depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts.

No one should have to live a life that is filled with these negative thoughts, as it will prevent you from living your life to the full. Like Cudi, there are many people from all over the world who are suffering from a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression and are always looking for treatments to help turn the negative thoughts into positive ones. Some people turn to things like yoga standing poses as a way to relax and calm their emotions. Others may take some time off social media to go for a walk in the fresh air. Everyone has different ways of dealing with their mental health so it’s important to find something that works for you.

Over recent years, the use of natural remedies like marijuana and CBD oil have been known to relieve some of the negative symptoms of your mental health, as well as helping with some physical ailments such as pain, arthritis, and insomnia too. You could visit hempcentralny.com if you are looking to get an online medical marijuana card ny so that you can try medical marijuana as a remedy for any mental health problems. But, as is the case with anything like this, it may not work for everyone and in some cases, looking at different options like checking yourself into rehab – just as Cudi has done – will help you to be able to enjoy life again.

“I am not at peace,” he wrote. “My anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it … Its time I fix me. I’m nervous but I’mma get through this.”

Red Table Talk airs Monday on Facebook Watch.
