New tracks from artists breaking out from all over the country. Check out these sounds as we kick off July into full swing. As always, let us know what you think. All of our artists this month can also be found on our official Civil Selects: July playlist on Apple Music, add it here or stream below.

Artist: KaMillion

Track: Florida Lit (f/ Lil Duvy)

Hot Take: Jacksonville native KaMillion puts on with her Florida girl sh*t in new track ‘Florida Lit’. While her face may be relatively new, the rapper’s pen is not, writing for the likes of Diddy, Rihanna, Trey Songz and more. KaMillion is definitely one to watch

Artist: TOBi

Track: January December

Hot Take: Toronto rapper TOBi paints his perfect picture of love throughout the seasons. The song, produced by Take A Day Trip combines modern stylings with a contemporary acoustic vibe as TOBi sings and raps over the beat.

Artist: Frvrfriday

Track: Fijitrap

Hot Take: One of the more interesting prospects in the melodic rap scene. The Edmonton, CA artist uses immaculate production to propel his verses that sound like a seasoned vet with his unique sound, and not someone who’s oldest song is from 2017. He also wrote, engineered and mixed his project ‘Offline’ himself.

Artist: Dyme-A-Duzin

Track: Banga’

Hot Take: The Brooklyn takes the streets to task with the thumping ‘Banga’, the single lifted from his new project ‘Crown Fried’. Dripping in swagger and authenticity, Dyme announces his presence by setting the door on fire.
