Sad news out of Toronto. Rising artist Smoke Dawg, best known for his collaborations with Skepta‘s ‘Overseas’ and opening for Drake‘s Boy Meets World European Tour was fatally shot and killed over the weekend. According to reports, the rapper and two other individuals were shot around Queen Street West and Peter Street, in Toronto’s Entertainment District. Occurring before 8 PM EST, all three victims in the shooting were transported to a local hospital in critical condition with the suspects still unknown. Shortly after their arrival, a male victim was pronounced dead with associates of Smoke Dawg confirming it was indeed the rapper who passed. Prayers are with his family and friends.
