Drake’s producer, Noah 40 Shebib caught some shots about his chronic illness on the Drake diss track by Pusha-T,The Story Of Adidon,” and ironically, today (May 30) is World Multiple Sclerosis Day.

40 was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2005 and has since become an ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Shortly after the track dropped, he tweeted about the song being dropped on the eve of World MS Day.

Shebib linked to the official World MS Day website, which explains, “World MS Day is officially marked on 30 May each year. Events and campaigns take place throughout the month of May. It brings the global MS community together to share stories, raise awareness and campaign with and for everyone affected by multiple sclerosis. The 2018 campaign will be called #bringinguscloser and the theme is research.”

As for the National MS Society, the MS Senior Director Eileen Curran made a public statement and said:

“It’s troubling to hear that a person’s disability would be made fun of by others. Multiple sclerosis, which affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide, is an often misunderstood disease. People living with MS face many challenges every day, which is why it’s so important to continue to raise awareness for MS so others can better understand those challenges. There are some people who I know living with this condition who suffer through the pain, as they may be unsure as to how to relieve it. But there are other stories that I have come across where some people have found the use of hemp tincture, for example, to improve the pains while walking and even the muscle spasms. Not even just this, but other CBD products too, as there are so many out there. I have had stories from other people as well, whether they are using oils, gummies, capsules or creams. Someone said they use White Label CBD Gummies for their chronic illness and it works wonders. It’s incredible how there is something out there for everyone, and how we really need to talk about it more to let those who suffer with chronic pain, that they are not alone and have so many options to help them. Not everyone is aware that there are ways to help people living with MS, which is why World MS day is so important. Additionally, some people might not even realize that people with multiple sclerosis look for online disability insurance quotes regularly because they feel like they may need time away from their job, and they want to protect their income. Others take going to work and earning their salary for granted, but when there is a possibility that your disability can prevent you from doing this, it’s disheartening, and something that more people need to be aware of. We at the National MS Society see this as an opportunity to raise awareness of this disease, the people who live with it, and the support that is out there – especially since today is World MS Day.”

What are your thoughts, did Pusha-T go too far in “The Story Of Adidon”?
