Versus LIVE, a rap competition series, held its finale last night (November 15) at the Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles. The event, hosted by live-streaming digital multimedia platform, WAV, brought finalists Asad III and Bebe O’Hare in a head to head matchup where the contestants participated in a rap battle in front of celebrity guest judges. For those not in attendance, the event was streamed on the WAV app.

The two received feedback from some veterans in the game in Ghostface Killah, The Cool Kids, Sonny Digital and Scoop Deville and ultimately crowning a winner of the first season in Chicago’s own O’Hare, who received a cash prize and a deal with WAV Records.

After the showdown, the party shifted to Liasion next door were host Kenny Burns, the celebrity judges and more toasted to the win for O’Hare.

WAV is a music platform with a 360-degree support system for emerging artists and leveraging the app to help artists showcase in interactive ways. WAV currently collaborates with Migos, 21 Savage, Post Malone and more.
