South Central Los Angeles rapper G Perico and the Bompton-based MC Jay Worthy have joined forces for the G-Worthy project.

Recorded in 2 days in LA, the project itself is authentic gangster rap from the City of Angels. Mixed together with Cardo’s distinct, smoothed-out melodic production makes for one of the best West Coast connections to come in a long time and the synergy is palpable. Sonic influences come from old Sacremento sounds from Phonk Beta and the Bay Area hyphy bounce. It’s a “late-night mobbin” as described by Cardo.

Press play and take a listen to G Perico and Jay Worthy’s 7-track project below.
