Ernest Dion “No I.D.” Wilson, is the man behind Jay Z’s new album 4:44 and during a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the producer discussed the creating the project, and also revealed there’s more new music on the way.

“It was a real artist-producer relationship on a traditional level,” No I.D. said. “I think it’s something we need more of in all music. It wasn’t until the mid-90s that we even started this concept of multiple producers on projects.”

“4:44” was recorded largely at No I.D.’s Hollywood studio beginning in December and wasn’t finished until very recently. He mentions, “We did that maybe Monday? Maybe Tuesday. I finished it Thursday morning.”

“There’s three more songs that are coming out as bonuses,” he revealed. “James Blake came in and joined into the process. There’s more coming shortly that’s equally as revealing.”
