Since dropping her debut album CTRL, the world has been in an SZA frenzy. From sitting at the no.3 spot on the Billboard 200 charts to killing her performance at the 2017 BET Awards this past weekend, this TDE songstress is just getting started. Keeping the momentum going, the Maplewood, N.J. native met with Genius’ Rob Markman over at GallopNYC in Brooklyn where they went horseriding before sitting down to chat.

On the latest episode of IRL, the two talked about the first song she ever recorded with the help of her brother, how she came up with her stage name, her first EP See.SZA.RUN., love for cinema and much more.
