Nostalgia alert!

Revealed on Hot 97’s “Ebro In The Morning” this week, Eric B. and Rakim have announced an incredible anniversary concert for the 30th anniversary of their classic Paid In Full album.

The event will take place on July 7th, 2017 at the Apollo Theatre. As revealed to Hot 97, this will be the first time in 20 years that the duo has performed together. We can also plan for these guys to have some special guests alongside them.

Before the exciting announcement, however, Eric B. and Rakim took the time to reflect on the passing of the legendary Prodigy. “He brought that real gangster life to the studio,” says Rakim. Eric B. then reflected on seeing Prodigy’s final performance in Las Vegas and noted how despite feeling very ill, P stayed to take pics with all the fans afterwards. Just amazing.
