DJ Whoo Kid got the 4-1-1 on how Floyd Mayweather really feels about today’s rap game.

The Shade 45 program got a chance to talk to the King of the Ring yesterday. Floyd spoke about the business he has been taking care of overseas, developing his fellow boxing mate Tank, and more. After throwing some respect on Conor McGregor’s name as a powerful fighter and discussing their possible upcoming fight, the champion didn’t hold back about his disdain for today’s music.

Mayweather recognized the great difference in music from his generation compared to today.

“What we talked about was just marijuana. Now, it’s okay to be a junkie in the music world! I mean it’s crazy. It’s okay to OD on drugs, it’s okay to take any drug.”

He then followed up to use the examples set by 50 Cent and Pac, who created “timeless” music.
