Today, dance music DJ/producer 3LAU has released the music video for his new single “On My Mind” featuring appearances from New England Patriots’ own Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski and WWE’s Mojo Rawley/Dean Muhtadi. Together, they take the song’s seemingly romantic message and instead give a tongue-in-cheek look at how being “bro” can backfire with the ladies.

“For the “On My Mind” video we were able to develop a story that brought an additional layer to the track,” said 3LAU. “We ended up with a hilarious and relatable scenario that should be a departure from what fans may initially expect from the song.”

Making his debut music video appearance, the lovable Gronk deals with an unsuccessful flirtatious Vegas encounter. After meeting a beautiful woman at a bar, Gronk’s mind wanders into fantasy as 3LAU cameos as the couple’s bartender. Gronk slips in and out of reality envisioning everything from carwashes to Nyotaimori, trampolines and confetti. His reaction is not what the young woman had in mind as she tries to keep it friendly. Eventually tossing her drink in her companion’s face, she leaves him behind as he literally falls flat.

“3LAU played “On My Mind” for me a couple days before the Super Bowl in Houston and asked if I wanted to be in the music video,” said Gronk. “It ended up being a lot of fun to shoot and what makes it even better is that the money from the song is being donated. It’s great when you can give back while still trying something new and having an unbelievable time.”
