Baltimore has quickly become a hub for promising talent within the hip-hop industry and it’s finally being noticed by the rest. Today, one of those promising stars, Tate Kobang, is back today with the official video release of his catchy track “Dis Side”.

The passionate, bar-filled track serves as the intro to Tate’s most recent mixtape Silent Waves that was released back in March. With it quickly becoming a fan favorite, Tate knew he had to put a visual behind this one.

Roaming the streets of Baltimore with his crew, the 300 Entertainment artist offers up a visual representation of what life is like in B-more and how things just aren’t the same over here.

Tate also takes the time to salute fallen Baltimore rapper Lor Scoota, who tragically passed away a year ago. Tate raps: “Had to take some time off just to get my head right/Rest in peace to Scoota, got me scared to stop at red lights.” As mentioned, this song lives on Tate’s recent mixtape Silent Waves, which was hosted by DJ Flow, and includes one feature from fellow Baltimore star Young Moose.

Fans can expect more visuals from Silent Waves to be released in the next several weeks, as well as another special announcement coming later this week.
