Carrollton, New Orleans rapper, BTY YoungN, was gunned down on Airline Highway Saturday night.

Born Desmone Jerome, BTY was only 27-year old. His cousin, Glenn Bell, confirmed he was shot at a Hollygrove gas station.  A crowd of 100 people fled the 9200 block upon the shot rings.

As family and friends await further developments in the investigation, Bell assures that BTY’s “positivity” will be remembered and his passion for rap will continue to “live on” regardless of his untimely death.
