At midnight today (4/28), DMV hitmaker Wale officially released his brand new and highly anticipated album Shine a week earlier than originally planned.

Kickstarting his promo run, Folarin stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club for an impromptu interview with DJ Envy and Angela Yee (no Charlamagne this time).

During their lengthy sit down, Wale spoke on just about everything including: his new album and everything that went into it, why he pushed the album up, preparing himself for fatherhood and how amazing his daughter is, relationship with Meek Mill and J. Cole, thoughts on Tomi Lahren (who Wale called out in a song titled “Shining Season”), his upcoming tour, the love he has for his fans and much more.
