This morning (4/5), Troy Ave returned to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club and had quite a bit to talk about. Last year was a tragic one for the NY rapper following the Irving Plaza shooting that left his bodyguard and best friend Banga dead. Looking to talk about it all, Troy was open per usual.

He sat with Charlamagne, Angela Yee and Envy and discussed everything including: the infamous tragedy, his relationship with Banga and the criticism/accusations he’s gotten surrounding everything, the freestyle he dropped following the incident, a story when someone attempted to kill him this past Christmas Day, his relationship with Brooklyn rapper Casanova and how he almost saved his life at a party a few years back, why he still thinks Kendrick is a “weirdo rapper”, comparing himself to Tupac and even calling himself “NewPac” and much much more.
