Lil Wayne Announces Young Money Radio
by Staff Editor
In the last couple of years, an industry trend has seen artists and tastemakers getting their own radio stations under the umbrella of bigger networks. We’ve seen the likes of Drake, DJ Khaled, Travi$ Scott and more break into the world of radio through their own platforms, and it’s looking like we can officially add Lil Wayne to the list.
Taking to Twitter last night, Weezy announced the launch of “Young Money Radio,” which will be his own exclusive station under the growingly popular Dash Radio network.
The first episode airs today (March 28) and will include the exclusive premiere YM artist HoodBaby’s debut mixtape Kitchen 24. There’s no other info at the moment in terms of whether or not Wayne will be hosting certain shows, or what else is expected from Young Money Radio. Good move, Weezy.
