To promote his latest studio album Do What Thou Wilt, Ab-Soul drops off the music video for his track “Evil Genius”.

The West Coast emcee recruits Teedra Moses and Javonté, as the clip sees the TDE rapper visiting his former lover and best friend, Alori Joh’s grave for the first time after her passing.

Ab-Soul premiered the video on GQ, where he talked about the meaning behind it. He says, “It’s just very sincere. The album is a woman-appreciation album, and I can’t help but commemorate my lady. If I were to talk to her today, that would be the tone of my voice. If I had the opportunity, that’s how I would get at her. If you can imagine something like that, I just tried to put that into words.”
