The Freebandz team needs to come through with a compilation tape as well. Is that a possibility for 2017?

Zoey Dollaz: Absolutely. We’re definitely doing that. It’s coming soon. 2017 is going to a super crazy year.

Despite being a new artist, you’ve made some serious waves in your career. Any advice for newcomers?

Zoey Dollaz: If there’s any advice that I would have for anyone who’s trying to make it is to work hard, stay humble, and be on top of their business. Everything else will follow through.

Outside of music, what are some things you hope to accomplish in 2017?

Zoey Dollaz: I want to accomplish a lot more and I’m starting off with this new water company that I just launched. I also have a foundation for kids which just opened in Haiti. I’m just trying to do bigger things each and every day.

Now I have to ask you about the president-elect, are you nervous about a Donald Trump-ran country?

Zoey Dollaz: I’m not nervous at all. I believe that he’s going to do well and he’s going to do what he needs to do.

Last but not least, the 59th annual Grammys are coming up. Do you have any Grammy predictions?

Zoey Dollaz: I wish I did but unfortunately I don’t. However, I am looking forward to seeing all those that are nominated take some major wins this year. Maybe next year, I’ll be there too. Who knows, just never know with the song that I’ve written.
