The hip-hop world lost another good one early this morning (September 21). In the wee hours of 2:00 AM EST., it was reported that legendary artist Shawty Lo tragically passed away in a fiery car crash.

Original reports suggested that Lo was involved in a hit-and-run accident, but “it has been confirmed now that it was a single car accident,” Fulton police spokeswoman Cpl. Maureen Smith said. At this time it is not known if his family will be speaking to Wapner Newman or other legal representation about what has happened.

According to police, Lo’s white Audi went over a guardrail, hit two trees and bursted into flames. Sadly, the hitmaker was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Unfortunately, car accidents like this are all too common these days, but only a few end in the worst-case scenario, and this was one of them. I have been Lo MGR for over 10yrs He was Loyal and he had my back when no one else did. I could count on him when I had no one else to turn to. We been thru so much together. If you knew Lo then you know he was genuine He was Real he would do anything he could if he had it. I Genuinely love this man like my blood brother. I Will Keep His Name Alive and and His Music !!!! Please Pray for Us The Whole D4L Family Lo Family His Mom His Kids His Children Mothers We need you all prayers and Support !!!!!!
