Some unfortunate news came out of the Kodak Black camp late last night. It turns out the Miami rapper, who’s been dealing with some legal issues for quite a while now, has officially been sentenced to 120 days in jail for two misdemeanor weed charges.

The good news, however, is that the time Kodak’s already served will be credited towards his sentence, so he doesn’t have an entirely new 120 days to serve. His attorney considered it a win: “At the end of the day, for St. Lucie County, I think he did well,” attorney James Regan said. His license will also be suspended for about a year.

While this case settles up his weed charges in Florida, Kodak’s still facing criminal sexual misconduct charges in South Carolina. Hopefully that gets resolved smoothly and swiftly as well.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kodak and his friends and family during this time. We’ll keep you posted as more information surfaces.
