This year’s ESSENCE Festival featured a ton of incredible activities from music and art performances, to expos and panels, plus great food. Once again, Ford played a major role in the success of ESSENCE and it was their Go Further panels that really iced the cake.

For session 1, hosted by Loni Love, our very own Karen Civil participated in the panel alongside Speed Beautiful and Lexi with the Curls, which focused on entrepreneurship. As part of Ford’s promo for their all new FUSION vehicle, they discussed the differences between their personal and professional life, what “drives” them to be successful, how to manage their time, being efficient, what they did to “Go Further” int he community, and how they knew entrepreneurship was the lane for them.

The panel was a great success and it’s safe to say the attendees learned a helpful thing or two. Check out some pictures below!
