Troy Ave

As we get closer and closer to the bottom of what took place with Troy Ave at Irving Plaza a few weeks ago, a major revelation came today. It turns out the NY rapper will have avoided murder chargers after all, though he still has some hefty pending charges against him.

According to TMZ, who gained access to the court documents, it appears that Troy has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon. If found guilty on those charges, Troy could be facing a sentence of “multiple decades.”

That being said, it’s clear from the ballistic tests that the bullet that killed Ronald McPhatter, aka B$B Banga, was not from any of the guns in Troy’s possession. Hence why he avoided first-degree murder charges.

We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
