Things are looking great for Kanye West. The Grammy-winning rapper will be honored with the “Special Achievement Award” at this year’s Webby Awards due to his contributions to internet culture.

According to sources, these contributions are tied with the success of his album The Life Of Pablo, and being the first artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard charts based primarily on streaming.

In a recent statement, the Webby Awards executive director David-Michel Davies said that Yeezy has “leveraged the immense influence and addictive elements of streaming media to drive innovation on the Internet.”
