Dr. Dre surprised everyone this past weekend when he performance at this year’s Coachella alongside Ice Cube, and the rest of the N.W.A. cast. But, prior to that, the hip-hop veteran killed the stage with California’s own Anderson .Paak.

Today, Beats by Dre takes us behind-the-scenes for the pair’s performance at the music festival, in a five minute-documentary titled “All In a Day’s Work.”

Throughout the film, we hear Dre say, “The artists I like to work with are people who you know their voice from the first syllable. Soon as [Anderson] opens his mouth you gonna know it’s him…And he’s coming with his voice, his delivery, his energy, he seems like an old soul.”
