New York Rapper Tru Life Finally Released From Prison
by Staff Editor
After a lengthy 6-year sentence, NY rapper Tru Life has officially been released from prison.
The controversial emcee was once signed to Jay Z’s Roc La Familia label and is known for his various beefs over the years, most notably with Dipset. Tru was sentenced to eight years in prison for a fatal stabbing he was charged with in 2011 and based on good behavior, was able to be released a little early.
Appearing to be in good spirits, I wonder if Tru will try and revamp his career? We’ll have to wait and see.
