Kendrick Lamar Leads Phife Dawg Tribute in Australia

Hip-hop has been shaken today due to the death of Phife Dawg from A Tribe Called Quest. The hip-hop legend has been honored across the internet throughout the day but Kendrick Lamar led 18,000 fans in a tribute to the Five Foot Assassin.
While in Sydney, Australia K Dot took a moment out from performing to lead the crowd in celebrating the life of Phife.
“Today, we lost one of the pioneers in hip-hop, by the name of Phife Dawg,” Kendrick stated. “Right now, ain’t nobody cheering about me. We’re gonna give it up for him, for allowing me to do what I’m doing on this stage right here, right now, today.”
