New York DJ Big Kap Has Passed Away

We are sad to report that New York’s own DJ Big Kap has sadly passed away at the age of 45. There are very few details on his death at the moment, but early this morning, DJ Funk Flex took to Instagram to break the news.
Kap is as legendary of an NYC DJ as it gets. He used to DJ alongside Flex in the 90s at Tunnel nightclub, held down the 1s and 2s for Biggie on multiple occasions, and traveled the world performing for thousands of fans. Him and Flex released an album deemed The Tunnel, which featured legendary artists including Biggie, Tupac, Eminem, Jay Z, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Nas and more. Kap has impacted New York hip-hop in an incredible way.
