Even in the new year, Chris Brown can’t seem to stay away from legal woes, but this time around, Breezy’s the one laying the lawsuit hammer down.

It’s being reported that Brown is prepared to sue recent battery accuser Liziane Gutierrez for defamation after she made false claims that Chris struck her in the face at a Las Vegas nightclub on New Years Eve. Reports say the suit could be filed as early as today.

Breezy also took to Instagram to make it clear that his head on straight going into 2016 and that he plans to keep his circle small. Brown’s manager Mike G also chimed in showing his disgust for major media outlets reporting the false claims from the NYE incident in the first place.
